Jesse Pipes is a senior lecturer and Program Facilitator & Experience Designer in the Walker College of Business. He has designed and led courses in Social Entrepreneurship, Venture Creation, Innovation, and Creativity and Design. Jesse holds a BA in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a MBA with concentrations in International and Sustainable Business from Appalachian State University.
He is the Program Director for the William R. Holland Impact Exchange Fellowship. A unique international experience which allows students to explore and evaluate both simple innovations and the disruptive technologies that will help stretch the sustainability ambitions of the businesses of tomorrow.
He is a co-founder of Access Health Africa, an international non-profit organization providing health resources and services in the Central Region of Malawi, Africa. He has 20 years’ experience leading the development of community-based health programs and international student expeditions. He has a passion for motivating others to explore, learn, and take action.
