Research

My research examines how organizations adapt to dynamic and uncertain environments. I focus on the exploration–exploitation tradeoff, organizational structure, and managerial behavior, using computational models, experiments, and archival data. This work contributes to core questions in strategic management, such as how managers balance search and stability, and how hierarchical structures shape adaptive capacity.
My work has been published in the Strategic Management Journal and Organization Science, and I maintain an active pipeline with projects under review or revise-and-resubmit at outlets including the Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Management, and the Journal of Sport Management. Across these streams, my goal is to build theory that explains why some organizations are better able to adapt to turbulence and change, and to generate insights that connect rigorous modeling with practical strategic challenges.
