Student Clubs and Professional Organizations

Students participate in leadership opportunities, study internationally through short-term and semester-abroad programs, complete summer internships, interact with alumni and guest speakers, and engage in community service activities. Students complement their classroom learning through involvement in extracurricular learning experiences and professional organizations.

Hospitality and Tourism Management Student Association (HTMSA)

The purpose of HTMSA is to offer a fun learning environment for hospitality students. Also, the club prepares students for the future through guest speakers and recruiting opportunities.

Sigma Iota Epsilon is an honorary fraternity for management majors. App State's chapter was installed in 1993-94.

Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM)

This club is a student chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management - the world's largest HR membership organization devoted to human resource management. We are interested in new developments in the human resources area. SHRM is designed to provide students a variety of opportunities to meet and interact with business professionals and to learn more about the newest and most effective methods of dealing with human resources issues.
