Will will teach Venture Creation (MGT 4650) and Opportunity and Entrepreneurship (MGT 3060) during the 2010-2012 academic years. A former Senior Instructor at the University of Miami and Florida International University, he has taught Strategic Management and International Business. He is the author of a book on the “structure and management of global telecommunications and space policy” and founder of two magazines in international business.
An entrepreneur in International Business, Will was the recipient of the US Governments “E” Award presented by the President of the United States for international trade development. He was also founder and CEO of two companies (Latcom Inc. and Intercom Corp.) that trademarked 13 new venture entrepreneurial projects in 23 countries.
Among his academic and civic projects for 2010-2012 include faculty and student exchanges with the Universidad Tecnologica de Bolivar (Cartagena, Colombia); social entrepreneurial work with foundations in (Colombia); The US Department of Commerce, District Export Council (North Carolina); and High County Hospice (North Carolina).
His research interests include job creation in North Carolina though new venture creation in telecommunications, satellite, aerospace, remote sensing, IT, and international trade development.
He is married to Grace Palacios Will and has two sons, Tomas and Anthony.
